21 Competition
I made a list of 100 things I should do that scare me. In 2020, I plan to complete all 100.
I hate the person competition makes me into. Competitive board games don’t usually bring it out in me, and I know that, but that simple act of competing sparks my anxiety. For that reason, I simply won’t play competitive board games. I am uncomfortable while I am winning and even more so while losing.
Usually, it’s no problem—my friends and I love cooperative games. But it’s tough when we want to play games with my youngest sister in law, because most cooperative games are extremely complex.
The other day, my husband and younger brother and sister in law were playing video games. I asked for a controller.
I’m terrible at it. It was not very fun. It wasn’t that scary, either. Level 2.
